Everything else

being able to go outside somewhere with them

Being in a close proximity to them

face to face contact

A better sense of trust and security

I don't have offline friends :((

These days, my “offline” friends are all online, because we can’t meet up.

Physical affection. Like hugs, or similar. And greater insight onto what advice I need, or similar. Since they know even about things I haven't shared

I can spend time with them in real life

Physical proximity, actually hanging out together

Going out with them

It's good to be close to others.

I've known my offline friends for a lot longer, some of them over 10 years now. We've been through a LOT more experiences together so I know I would be able to count on them for anything. An online friend wouldn't be able to help me out in a crisis that happens in-person.

Real, physical interactions. People I lean on with my problems.

Do outdoor activities like rock climbing, hiking, etc.

Actually hanging out in person

Being able to hang out in real life

We can go to concerts and do other real life stuff together, like skiing

face to face conversations, doing things you need to be physically together in order to do

No need to arrange in-person meetings — can be more casual
